We’ve had a superb year on this front with over 80 new
L2 coaches qualified including a cohort from the Parks
League and more females than ever before. 2016 will see
us really concentrating on improving the quality of coaching
on offer out there in clubs and schools.
Fund-raising
We had a very successful golf day with 12 teams at
Handsworth Golf Club and we wish to thank all those teams
for participating and to Danny Longhorne for organising it. The
other feature of our fund-raising efforts was the children’s
book written by Rachael Wong and illustrated by
Jim Troughton. It’s a brilliant story and is entitled ‘The
Legend of Morvidus; The Bear, the Bat and the Ragged
Staff’. Copies can be found in the Club Shop! Thanks so
much to Rachael and Jim for their huge efforts.
